GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

CONGRATULATIONS: to Thomas Mattar and Luiz de Campos. Both have been accepted into the AMIS International School Honor Band, which will be rehearsing and performing in London, England this coming March. This will be the third AMIS Honor Band event for both boys.

VISITS TO THE NURSE DURING CLASS TIME: Students are required to obtain a “Nurse’s Pass” from their class-teacher in order to see the nurse during class time.

Virtual Reality Comes to GradedThe Oculus Rift comes to Graded on Tuesday, November 12 after school in the MakerSpace. This Virtual Reality Headset is designed for users to immerse themselves in video games. Teachers, students and parents are invited to experience this very cool piece of technology.

CLIMATE CHANGE VIDEO-CONFERENCE: a group of IB SL Physics students will be participating in a COP19 Climate Change video conference on Tuesday from 14:00 to 15:30 in B26 (Writing Center).

END OF SEMESTER ASSEMBLY: on December 10 will focus on celebrating student achievements in and outside of Graded. If you (or someone you know in the HS) have had an achievement that is you feel is worthy of celebrating please send me an email with the details

DRESS CODE: Students must wear clothing appropriate for a school setting. Inappropriate apparel such as short shorts (e.g. the shorts length should not be above the tip of the thumb), strapless or backless shirts, visible undergarments or T-shirts with provocative or inappropriate language or symbols (including but not limited to: curse words, sexual insinuations, offensive or racist words, and alcohol/drugs themes) are not tolerated.
