GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS: The PTA is calling for 4 volunteers to help Santa during the Thanksgiving Luncheon on Saturday. Please contact Suzanne.ferreira@gmail.com if you can help or speak to Mr. Fernandes.

IB Research Support: Ms. Milly Pennunzio is offering an after school activity in the Library every Monday from 15:15 to 17:00 to support Grade 12 students working on IA’s and Grade 11 searching for credible & reliable Extended Essay resources.

VISITS TO THE NURSE: Students are required to obtain a “Nurse’s Pass” from their class-teacher in order to see the nurse, except in an emergency situation.

DRESS CODE: Students must wear clothing appropriate for a school setting. Inappropriate apparel such as short shorts (e.g. the shorts length should not be above the tip of the thumb), strapless or backless shirts, visible undergarments or T-shirts with provocative or inappropriate language or symbols (including but not limited to: curse words, sexual insinuations, offensive or racist words, and alcohol/drugs themes) are not tolerated.

INAPPROPRIATE DISPLAYS OF AFFECTION are to be avoided. P.D.A. acts are not acceptable on campus or near school entrances or exits. Parents will be contacted after an initial warning has been given and behavioral consequences will increase if the inappropriate actions continue.

“R U OK?” DAY on November 21. Candy Grams will be on sale on Monday, 18 November.

ZOMBIE ZOO will be back by popular demand on November 27 from 16:00 to 18:00 in the BBT.
