·        The Graded Jazz Festival. The Graded Jazz Festival is a special event that we have hosted here for the past 12 years; we bring in professional jazz educators from the US and utilize some of the most acclaimed local jazz players as well, and over the course of 3 days these experts work closely with our students (and this year, with students from Brasilia and Caracas) over the finer aspects of playing their instruments and understanding the jazz idiom. It is an incredible experience, and it is open to all qualified Graded music students! The festival takes place during these hours:
o    Feb 20 - Thursday afternoon starting at 3:30, until 8:00 PM.
o    Feb 21 - Friday, 9:30 AM~6:30 PM. Graded students must attend their first morning class (Block 3).
o    Feb 22 - Saturday, 1:30~7:30 PM. There will be an optional excursion in the morning to the São Paulo music store district (Av. Teodoro Sampaio)
