What's on the Docket # 27 - March 17 to March 23

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
·        PROM Committee: a committee consisting of 9 juniors and 3 seniors is being established to plan and organize the 2014 Prom for May 9. Interested students may apply in writing to Mr. Fernandes. This activity may earn students CAS credit. Next meeting will take place on March 31.

·        Monday Flex Assembly at 13:00 in the GYM for a Drug Talk by Fabian Nacer

·        Orlando Trip Meeting  for parents and students in the Choir Room (Arts Center) at 16:00 Monday, 17 March

·        Tuesday Flex Assembly at 13:00 for Palestra by Jason Ohler

·        Wednesday special schedule will allow students to participate in the CIS College Fair during Lunch and Flex. Last period will be 60 minutes long.

·        Thursday is a Half Day Schedule due to the AASSA Conference. All students will be leaving campus at 12:00 and there are no activities scheduled for the afternoon.

·        Zombie Zoo: sign up has commenced. If you have any questions please contact MC Otani

·        PTA Celebration of the World (COTW) will be celebrated on April 26. This is a Graded Community event & fundraiser held each April to celebrate the diversity of our school where all countries represented at the school will have the opportunity to show their culture.

·        Student Advisory Board: meet every Friday to review school policy and aspects of student life at Graded. You can contact the SAB members on sab@graded.br

REMINDER OF THE WEEK
Multiple Extracurricular Events
A student is limited to ONE non-curricular off-campus event per semester (e.g. Big Eight, MUN) without approval by the Assistant Principal and Counselor at the beginning of each semester.  The meeting is meant to provide consistent monitoring and support of students missing class on multiple trips. There is no limit to the number of activities in which a student may participate with the approval of the Assistant Principal and Counselor as long as the student remains in good academic, attendance and behavioral standing.
