His appearance at Graded is the opening event for the Brazilian Upper School Evento Literário and Brazilian Book Fair (Tuesday to Friday 8:00-16:00). Mr. Mesquita will speak on the state of journalism today, the information industry, along with the need for critical analysis and the ethical use of information. Student Advisory Board Application: If you would like to apply to be part of the SAB (who serve as a conduit between students and the administration by representing the student perspective in matters pertaining to the student handbook) you need to submit this application student application google form. One of the requirements for students to be considered for SAB is a teacher recommendation based on the six characteristics we believe will allow students to reach the goals set out for the SAB: responsible; organized; committed; able to listen and consider a variety of opinions; good communicators; and able to collaborate. Students may begin asking for recommendations this coming week. Applications close at midnight on May 2nd, so both your application and teacher recommendation must be submitted to Miss Boyd by that deadline.

Talon Staff Applications: It is time to select the dedicated, intelligent, and creative group of students that will lead The Talon through its 14th year. Carefully read and complete the application and fulfill the other requirements on or before Monday, April 28, 16:00.

PTA Celebration of the World (COTW) is right around the corner, on April 26, and we are in need of High School students to make this year’s COTW the best event ever.  High School volunteers have always been the key part of the PTA event success and we are counting on your support again.  Here is the link to the SIGN UP FORM – CAS credit may be obtained from participation in this event.
