What's on the Docket # 3 ~ August 7 to August 11

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Superintendent Finalist: Mr. David Hawley will be on campus on August 14-15. He will be touring the campus and doing class visits on Thursday and meeting with the Student Advisory Board during Lunch on Friday in the Library Conference Room.

Activities Fair will take place on Tuesday, August 12, during FLEX. Students are encouraged to refer to the HS Activities Handbook for details of activities being offered this year. The sign up for activities will take place online after the fair. Most of the activities will commence on Monday 18.

The Math Help Center: will be open every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15 to 4:00.  You are welcome to drop by if you need any help or a place to work on your math homework.

MAP Testing for Grades 9 and 10: A series of Measures of Academic Performance tests for all Grade 9 and 10 students will take place from August 18 to August 25 during English, Social Studies and Math classes. The MAP test provides an online personalized assessment experience by adapting to each student’s learning level. Global Public Service Academies for Health: Any juniors interested in hearing more about GPSA's Health Care Programs let Mr. Fernandes know as the Program Director, Dr. Malkin, will be on Campus during FLEX.

Late Buses are ONLY for students who participate in after school activities and athletics. Seating is limited on the late buses therefore students not involved in activities or athletics should be taking the first buses departing at 15:15 (14:45 on Wednesdays)
