GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS    

Student Advisory Board (SAB): Are you interested in being part of Student Advisory Board in the 2015-16 school year?  SAB serves as a conduit between students and the administration by representing the student perspective in matters pertaining to the student handbook.  For more information, please see the SAB 2015 - 16 Application Process, which has a link to the application as well as more details about this group.  Deadline to submit applications is Friday, May 1.

High school parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for the entire day of April 13th. The appointments to meet with teachers are in 15 minute time slots.

Upper School Musical: Schoolhouse Rock. Live! Thursday and Friday at 15:30 and 19:30 in the BBT.

SENIORS - PTA Goodwill Scholarship is awarded each year to a student who has been involved in community service projects while in the high school (in or out of school). If you are interested the Application Form and a short essay are to be submitted to the Selection Committee by Friday, April 17

Go Green is doing a drive for unused electronic devices. Please see Anoushka Gandhi for more information.

ZOMBIE ZOO – April 24: As you may already know, Zombie Zoo is a biannual student-run concert here at Graded open to students and faculty. This year's event is going to take place on April 24th in the student center. If you're interested in performing (all singers, musicians, dancers, comedians, magicians, and whatnot are welcome), please make a copy of this form, fill it out, and share it with MC Otani and Thiago Lima by April 15th. Feel free to talk to us or Shack if you have any questions.

Celebration of the World – April 25:  The Graded Community is once again preparing for our magnificent and biggest community event of the year, Celebration of the World [COTW]. This year COTW will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 11AM to 4PM. This year as a part of the COTW fundraiser, High School students and parents are putting together two raffle baskets: Gift Certificates and Makeup/ Beauty Basket. We need your help to make it a success!

REMINDER OF THE WEEK
US Library - Many Users, Many Uses
Out of respect for the needs of all library users, and in response to a student initiative, the main floor is designated for quiet activities, including small group and class use. The upper floor is for silent study and reading. Study groups may use the Learning Lab when available. The computer lab is for academic use, not games. The use of the lift is reserved for use by community members who cannot use the stairs.

Juniors:
Panel Draft & Meeting with Advisor - You are probably working now on your panel draft due on April 30th. Please understand there will be no time extension and the work you submit on this date will be the one used for the panels. It is important you meet with your advisor for guidance before it is too late. I will e-mail all the advisors today and ask for a list of students who have not met with them yet since First Complete Draft was turned in.
Important Dates:
April 22 & 23 - TOK class visits to work on abstract.
April 23rd Flex - Entire group presntation on the panel rules & expectations. (place: TBD)
April 30th - Panel draft due to Turnitin.com by 4:00PM, as well as a paper copy to the IB office (Gabriela Santos). This copy will be distributed to the members of your panel.
May 7th & 8th - Panel presentations. No classes for IB DP Juniors.
