IBDP EVENTS

Juniors:
CAS:
1.May 25th - was the due date to get all your CAS work done for your Junior year. Mr Amaral will start checking individual sites on Thursday May 28th. Here is the list of what he will be looking for:
1.CAS reports for all three areas (monthly) from August 2014 to April 2015
2.May report will be your final reflection - one for each area (min 350 words)
3.Project identification with group name, framework document, goals and report of first steps
2.Final Feedback - The final feedback will be of three types:
1.Complete - All the work done
2.Incomplete - Only a few things missing, they will be listed and 48 hours given to update the work
3.Not Done - You have not met the CAS expectations for the Junior year. A meeting with parents, IB coordinator, student and Mr Amaral will be immediately scheduled to decide the future of the student in the program.
3.New CAS coordinator – Mr Amaral would like to take the opportunity to introduce you to Ms Berman, your next year CAS/EEcoordinator. Ms Berman is coming from Quito, Ecuador and besides coordinating the CAS and EE programs, she will also be teaching IB psychology and TOK.
EE
1.Meeting with Advisor - we only have two weeks left until the end of the school year. If you have not met with your EE advisor, please do it soon, especially if he/she is leaving. You will need to work on your EE during the break as the FINAL due date to hand it in is August 17th.
2.EE work - We strongly recommend you get work done during your break as you will not have much time to do it in the first two weeks of August. If you have it all done by day 1, you can schedule a meeting with your advisor and get the last recommendations from him/her.

DOWN THE ROAD

Safe travels and Happy Landings!
