MAP Testing
These tests will be taking place from Monday 24th August to Tuesday 1st September for Grades 9 and 10.

Grade 11 IB BrSS and IB Chemistry Trips:
STUDENTS - For these trips, please bring your "Absence Forms" to the office by Monday
Students will leave Tuesday 25th (after school) and will miss classes all day on Wednesday 26th August. Students will return to classes on Thursday.
This is a trip to a steel factory where the students will have the opportunity to improve their knowledge of Brazilian geography. Students must wear appropriate shoes and bring their ID.

Home Soccer Games: Come support our Soccer teams this Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30pm as they play their last games on the field!

Celebrate Graded's 95th Anniversary: WEAR RED!  On Friday 28th August at 9:15 all HS students and staff will assemble on the field for the All- School photograph.

IB Core Retreat for juniors: Friday 28th and Saturday 29th August
Friday marks the official start of our IB core program. We will be sharing vital information for your success in the IB program. Your presence is mandatory. Please do not forget to bring all the items shared with you in my last IB Weekly Updates.

PGC Freshman: There will be a meeting for freshman Monday, August 31st in the Black Box Theater during Flex. All freshman are expected to attend. During the meeting, we’d like to introduce ourselves and the nature of the program before our retreat in September. We’re hoping that you are hyped for the retreat and looking forward to a great year! –PGC Leaders

Attention Seniors: Need help with completing your college applications? Ms Marks or Mr Daniel will be in the HS Counseling Office on Thursday, August 27Tuesday, September 1, and Thursday September 3 from 3:15 until 4:15. Drop in to get help and feedback with any application that you are working on.

The Graded Writing Center is a resource to help all students at any stage of the writing process. (Note: We cannot assist with certain IB assessments.) You can sign up for 20-minute slots outside the new office located in A2. 
The current available hours are as follows:

Day C Block 1 
Day D Block 6; 
Monday & Tuesday after school (3:15-4) 
Monday & Friday Flex (1:05-1:45)


REMINDER(S) OF THE WEEK

  
Lateness: Students must sign at the gate AND at the office before going to class
Grade 11 and 12 Leaving campus privileges:  Students in good academic and social standing and who do not have classes may, with parental consent, be granted the privilege of arriving to school later than 08:10 and leave school when done with classes for the day. Students who have a free block second or third class may not return to campus until after the last late bus has departed at 18:00.
Ordering of food: Students are not permitted to order food and have it delivered to school
