Combined Arts Rehearsal:  Tuesday 3rd November during Block 4.

PTA Coffee: Tuesday 3rd November. The topic will inform parents on the use of MAP Data.

Theatre Production: "Shuddersome: Terrifying Tales of Poe". Join us for compilation of six of Edgar Allan Poe's most terrifying tales!  Performances are Thursday, November 5 at 4:00 & Friday, November 6 at 4:00 & 7:00. Student admission is FREE. (BBT) 

HS Debate Team:  On Saturday 7th November, the Debate Team will be competing@ EAC. Students leave at 7:30am and return at 7:30pm. We wish them well.

DP News:
EE and CAS: Grade 11 students- EE Primary Outlines are due *next* Tuesday, November 10th! Be sure to communicate with your advisor throughout this week if you have questions about your topic of research!

Grade 12 students
November will be a busy month for the IB DP Seniors as many IAs are due this month. Please plan to get your work done in advance to avoid problems, internal dates are mandatory and not meeting them may put your diploma in jeopardy. (IA Internal Calendar).

PTA 2015 Thanksgiving Celebration: The PTA will be holding their annual Thanksgiving Event on Saturday 14th November. If you are interested in helping out please click on this link.



Writing Center:
The Graded Writing Center is a resource to help all students at any stage of the writing process. (Note: We cannot assist with certain IB assessments.) You can sign up for 20-minute slots outside the new office located in A2. 
The current available hours are as follows:
Day A Block 3/Day B Block 8/Day C Block 1 /Day D Block 6; 
Monday & Tuesday after school (3:15-4) 
Monday & Friday Flex (1:05-1:45)

GAMES/TRAVELLING EAGLES
4th November: Varsity Soccer Semi Final (location TBD)
6th November: Varsity Basketball Semi Final (location TBD)

From November 3 to 26 (the end of the season), JV and Varsity Soccer practices will take place at “Pequeninos do Jockey” in Rua Frei Bonifácio Dux, 160. Buses will depart from Graded at 3:30pm and will be back at school at around 5:45pm. Regular bus riders will be back at school in time to get the 6:00pm bus. We apologize for any inconvenience in the venue change.
